After months of speculation, Amazon has finally revealed the name of the motoring show from Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.

The former BBC Top Gear trio signed for Amazon last July in a surprise move that signalled the changing nature of TV as audiences shift online. It has now got a name: The Grand Tour.
Going live in autumn, Amazon also revealed that the show will be travelling around the world and will have a studio audience on location, similar to the old Top Gear hangar.
Clarkson took to Twitter to explain the naming of his new show: “The Grand Tour (GT for short) will come from a tent, which we will put up in a different location every week.” Hammond provided a little more information, saying that “We’ve got a MASSIVE tent as our studio. Same tent, different view, different crowd every week.”
James May, however, appears to be a annoyed about the chosen name: “I’m sorry if your name wasn’t used for our new show. But neither were any of mine… I still think ‘Nigel’ was a better name.”
The show now has official Facebook and Twitter pages, too.
A video shared on the Facebook page shows a few (probably non-serious) names that were passed up in favour of The Grand Tour.
