Google has launched a new feature that lets user download their entire Google search history- giving a glimpse into what the search giant knows about their web habits for the benefit of advertisers.
The feature is available on the Chrome browser and will let users download a massive file containing everything they have searched for since enabling the web history setting.
Google uses search history to personalise ads and find patterns amongst similar users to predict future behaviour.
The new search export option is part of a wider set of Google “Takeout” policies that give users greater access to their data.
