This weekend, beauty brand Burt’s Bees ran a Snapchat campaign promising to plant 5000 wildflower seeds to help bees, as part of a branded Snapchat selfie campaign.
On Sunday 9th July, Burt’s Bees used two special national geofilters available to UK Snapchatters for 24 hours.
For every limited edition Coconut and Pear Lip Balm sold, Burt’s Bees will plant 5k seeds OR/AND every Snap sent using the geofilters, Burt’s Bees will plant 5000 wildflower seeds – a source of nutrition for bees.
This was Burt’s Bees first ever Snapchat filter campaign.
The activity was planned and bought by their media agency PHD, with creative supplied by Ready.
This is to support its annual Bring Back the Bees campaign – started to help bring awareness to take action and help bees.
