Twitter has launched #Stickers, offering users a library of props to add to their photos, following Snapchat’s strategy in a bid to boost engagement.

Users can browse Twitter’s rotating sets of stickers to join in on real-time conversations, and select from the library of hundreds of accessories, emoji, and props to make your photos more fun.
The stickers are searchable. Tapping the sticker on a photo will take the user into a search showing how others have used that same sticker on their images.
Twitter has described this as a “visual spin” on the hashtag, and it opens up yet another tactical way for brands to target users by interest. The platform recently introduced targeting ads by emoji use, meaning a pizza brand could target based on location, and a user tweeting the pizza emoji.
The ability to add stickers to your photos will be rolling out over the next few weeks for people using Twitter for iOS and Android.
