Google has confirmed that its upcoming augmented reality eye wear will be adapted to work in prescription glasses.
The Glass design is modular, so users will be able to add frames and lenses that match their prescription, said Google.
Announcing the prescription solution for Google Glass, the company has showed off a prototype, sported by Greg Priest-Dorman, a member of the Glass team and an early pioneer in wearable computing.
The frames won’t be ready for the Explorer Edition’s release, but buyers can expect to see them later this year.
In the blog post, Google wrote: “One of the questions we hear the most is whether there will be a prescription solution for Glass. The short answer is: yes!
