Google is reportedly expanding it Android mobile a game console, smartwatch, and an updated version of the Nexus Q, all powered by the mobile operating system.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Google is looking to develop these products to rival any upcoming devices from Apple.
The WSJ reports that all prototype devices are being produced in-house.
According to a recent study by the research firm IDC, Android powers 75 percent of all smartphones and 56.5 percent of all tablets.
At this year’s Google I/O developer conference, the company revealed that there were 900 million total Android activations.
A Google games consiole would put the internet giant in direct completion with the recently launched Ouya and Shield systems, which are both powered by Android.
Ouya launched in stores this week and sold out within one day from major retailers.
Meanwhile, Google’s smartwatch rumours plans follow a similar announcement from Samsung, which recently confirmed that a Galaxy Smart Watch product is ‘definitely’ on its way. Apple is also rumoured to be working on what has been dubbed an ‘iWatch’.
Google’s Nexus Q. billed as a “social streaming media player”, has already been announced, but hasn’t been given a public launch.
The Nexus Q comes with 16 GB of onboard storage and is priced at $300.
