The data, from Global Web Index, looks at the amount of time these age groups are spending online on a mobile.
Although Millennials tend to spend the longest time online across most devices, it’s for mobiles where they really forge ahead of the older generations – clocking up a daily average of over 3 hours.
With the older generations having stronger attachments to more “traditional” devices like PCs/laptops, as well as a greater fondness for tablets, they lag considerably behind for time spent on mobile.
In fact, each day sees Millennials online on a mobile for over 4x as long as Boomers – offering further confirmation that Millennials really are the Mobile-First generation.
