The Pet Translator Mod is being launched for the Moto Z and Moto Z Play, a modular accessory for its flagship smartphone devices, enabling true communication between pet and owner.
By simply snapping the Moto Mod onto your Moto Z or Moto Z Play, your pets’ grunts, barks and snuffles will instantly be translated into easy-to-understand verbal communication.
The new Moto Mod was developed based on demand from Moto customers who stated that understanding their pets’ needs was the smartphone accessory they needed most in their lives. This insight led to the creation of Project CANINE (Communicating Animal Needs In Normal Elocution).
Seven years in development and testing, the Moto Mod uses bespoke recognition technology paired with specially developed AI (Animal Intelligence). The technology responds to your pets’ vocal chords, and relays it using a built-in microphone system. Now, thanks to Moto, man is finally able to communicate with their furry companions.
Kitty Peterson, Project CANINE lead, said: “At Lenovo Moto, innovation is our passion and we truly believe that being different is better. We’re committed to delivering technology that meets our customers’ demands, and as a nation of pet lovers, the ground-breaking Pet Translator Mod is exactly what the vet ordered”.
