Author rank, content marketing, social media and mobile marketing are the biggest digital marketing trends in the US this year, according to this infographic from Dot Com Infoway.


The illustration below shows that content marketing, mobile marketing, social media and author rank make up the leading trends.
Author rank measures level of engagement an author has achieved online through various social media channels and content posting.
Ther infographic forecasts that content marketing will make up nearly 33 percent of the marketing budget this year in the US, compared to 26 percent last year. It also says infographics provide a 25 percent increase in average website traffic.
Dot Com Infoway also predicts that by 2015, more US Internet users will access the web via a mobile device than through desktops or wireline devices.
