Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has revealed that Facebook now has over 150m members, with nearly half logging on each day, writes Netimperative. “If Facebook were a country, it would be the eighth most-populated in the world, just ahead of Japan, Russia and Nigeria,” wrote Zuckerberg. “Today, people of all ages – grandparents, parents and children – use Facebook in more than 35 different languages and in 170 countries and territories.” The average user has 100 friends and in total 2.6bn minutes are spent on the site each day. In addition 700m photos are uploaded to the site each month.
