Mozilla wanted to give Firefox 29 an “elegant” design while simultaneously overhauling the layout so that it would be the most customisable version yet.
“We reimagined and redesigned Firefox to reflect how you use the Web today and we are excited to introduce many features including an elegant and fun design, new menu, customization mode and an enhanced Firefox Sync service powered by Firefox Accounts,” Mozilla stated.
There is now a greater emphasis placed on the tab currently viewed to make them less of a distraction.
Mozilla also moved the Firefox menu to the right corner of the toolbar, giving all the browser controls a single place to reside.
