MySpace has begun testing a new service that lets users sync their MySpace status updates with their Twitter feed. The new opt-in service lets users sync their status so that any update created on MySpace will appear in their Twitter feed. Conversely, any Twitter feed update will appear within the user’s MySpace status and mood. The new sync feature works on mobile and uses open authentication technology, OAuth. OAuth allows limited data to be shared between sites while protecting account credentials. The service is currently only available to MySpace users in the US, with plans to roll out globally in the coming weeks. The service is available here.
