Spotify rival Rdio has launched its popular online music streaming service in the UK and France. According to reports, Skype, the owners of Rdio, made no official announcement of the music service being available in the UK, instead a buzz of interest appeared on social networks like Twitter.

The music service lets people stream music and listen to a limited amount of songs every month, however several paid options extend this and offer other features. If you are listening on a PC and do not listen to large amounts of songs the free option may suffice.
Pricing starts at £4.99 (about $8) per month for unlimited web streaming, jumping to £9.99 (roughly $16) for added mobile support.
Rdio has app’s for all the latest smart phones and devices, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android Mac and others.
Rdio was originally launched in 2010, since then its appeared in many countries including Canada, Australia, New Zealand amongst others.
