Yahoo! to cut 10% of workforce on the back of disappointing results

Yahoo! has announced that it is to cut 10% of its staff (over 1,500 people) following poor quarterly results, writes vnunet. Q3 profits were down 64% to $54.3m, compared to $151.3m in 2007.
