Facebook is letting mobile app developers promote their ads within the ‘Try These Games’ box right in the middle of the mobile news feed. Following a beta trial this summer, the company’s mobile app ads are now open to everyone. All developers on the social network can build ads that link from Facebook’s Android and iOS apps to either Google Play or the App Store, offering both an easy plug for their native apps and that all-important ad revenue for Facebook.

When a user clicks on the ad, he or she is redirected to the Android or iOS App Store to purchase the game or app.

In a recent Facebook developer page post, Vijava Raji wrote: “With these new ads, mobile apps and games of all sizes across any category can reach the right audience, at scale.”
Raji claimed that several developers saw dramatic increases in sales through their Facebook advertising, with TinyCo for example experiencing a 50-percent jump in click-throughs compared to other mobile avenues.
